At the 2026 Paddle Europe Marathon Championships held in Pitești, Romania (June 24-28, 2026), Adrian and his partner Tamás Erdélyi claimed the ultimate continental glory by becoming the 2026 European Champions in the Men's K2 Senior event.
In a gruelling, shortened 22.6 km tactical race under extreme 35°C heat, Adrian showcased his trademark explosive finish. The Hungarian duo dug deep in a breathtaking final sprint to cross the line in 1:31:55.59, beating out Spain's boat by a mere 0.87 seconds and Portugal by 1.31 seconds. This spectacular golden victory also pushed Hungary to the top of the overall European medal standings.
